GW runs past UCF 74-59 behind 27 from Roland; highlight and top play videos

It was a good night in Foggy Bottom: GW handled UCF ably, going up by 24 at one point to win it 74-59 and improve to 8-4. Sophomore guard Jordan Roland scored a quiet 27 points, more than any other Colonial this year, and Tyler Cavanaugh added 19.

The good guys hit 12 three pointers on 40% shooting from three and limited 7'6" Tacko Fall to 16 points and 7 boards. The team played hard, got a lot of nice steals and disrupted the Knights' game, especially limiting the ball going in to Fall. They also played smart, turning it over only 6 times.

UCF was 7-2 going into the game and in the top 70 in RPI.

GW has a couple of nice videos from the game: the top plays, including some monster dunks, and highlights from the game. Check them out.

And here's the GWSports recap.
